I have more than 20 years’ experience as an executive coach, mentor, facilitator and consultant with expertise in the application of Emotional Intelligence to improve individual, team and organisational performance. I am also a published author.

I have worked within the public and private sectors where my clients have included Egg (for the launch), The AA, Marks & Spencer, The John Lewis Partnership, Halifax Group, The Learning & Skills Council, The Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development, The Chartered Management Institute anda number of SMEs and individuals.

I enable people to bring all of their skills, expertise and energy to the workplace and their personal lives so they enjoy everything they do and choose to contribute fully to their own and their organisation’s success. I achieve this through a practical, hands-on approach using Emotional Intelligence as the differentiator of success.

I underpin this with my 20 years’ experience as a Royal Navy officer operating helicopters ashore and at sea around the world and with my central staff and ship command expertise. My active skills in leadership, executive coaching, mentoring, facilitating and consulting within change management, general management and learning & development activities create the trust that is the glue which facilitates organisational success, removes barriers and creates an empowered and innovative workforce at all levels.

With my wife, Jill, I have co-authored The Emotional Intelligence Workbook, published in the Teach Yourself® series by Hodder Education in September 2012.

I have been a Past President of Portsmouth & South East Hampshire Chamber of Commerce & Industry (now Hampshire Chamber), a past Executive Board Chairman of that Chamber and a past Chairman of South East Hampshire Area Executive Board, Young Enterprise.
